Slovak Restaurant Football Cup – 2nd Edition

The second edition of the Slovak Restaurant Football Cup took place at Ta Sannat Football Stadium, attracting 12 teams from across Europe. Participating teams included Serbia, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Italy, and Malta, promising exciting and friendly matches for all generations.

The event offered a full day of football, entertainment, music, and culinary delights:

• Football matches between 12 teams in a spirit of fair play and friendly competition

• Delicious Slovak goulash and draft beer to recharge after the matches

• Live music by the band Rolls from Čirča, and opera singers Jiří Rajniš and Tatiana Hajzušova

• Retro Czechoslovak DISCO party with DJ Pito

• Hosted by Marian Lechan

• Bouncy castle and Gymnathlon for kids, ensuring the little ones had plenty of fun

• Games and competitions for all ages, creating a joyful and friendly atmosphere

The winner of the second Slovak Restaurant Football Cup was the team from Serbia, taking home well-deserved applause and celebration from all participants.

The event was also honored by the presence of Gozo Minister Clint Camilleri and the Ambassador of the Slovak Republic, adding prestige and highlighting its importance to the local community and Slovak diplomacy.

The second edition of the Slovak Restaurant Football Cup once again proved that Slovak gastronomy, sports, and entertainment can beautifully bring together communities and families on the picturesque island of Gozo.
